Five shelves of the Nilgiris

Everything we sell comes off a hill farm, an estate or a small hill-town kitchen. Nothing is bought off a wholesale floor.

Spices

Sun-dried and stone-ground in small batches, never bulked out with fillers.

Pepper · Cardamom · Clove · Cinnamon · Star anise

Fruits

Picked at the right ripeness in the hills and moved cold, so they arrive tasting of the orchard.

Avocado · Banana · Passion fruit · Plums · Oranges

Vegetables

Harvested to order from Nilgiris farms — the cool-climate produce the plains rarely get fresh.

Carrot · Beans · Cabbage · Leeks · Garlic

Chocolates

Made in Ooty the old way, from cocoa and real cream — nutty, fruity and dark bars alike.

Dark · Milk · Nut brittle · Fruit & nut · Truffles

Biscuits

Home-style bakes from hill-town bakeries, still warm-from-the-oven crumbly.

Butter · Coconut · Ragi · Rusk · Cookies

Build a hamper

Mix any of the five into one box — the way we send it to family ourselves.

Why it tastes different

The Nilgiris grow slowly. Cool air and high ground mean a peppercorn takes longer to fill out and a carrot takes longer to sweeten — and you can taste every extra week of it.

Most of that flavour is lost on the way down the hill: weeks in storage, repacking, blending with cheaper stock. We built SpiceCado to shorten that journey to a single hop — grower to you.

Straight from the source

We buy from Nilgiris growers, estates and small makers directly. Fewer hands between the hill and your kitchen means fresher goods and a fairer price for the people who grew them.

Packed the day it ships

Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for an order. Spices are ground and sealed, produce is graded and boxed, and the parcel leaves the same day.

Honest, whole ingredients

No colouring, no bulking agents, no reused packaging. What the label says is what is inside the pack — and what is inside is what we cook with at home.

Delivered across India

Cold-chain for the perishables, sealed pouches for the dry goods, and tracking on every order from the moment it leaves the hills.
