Terms & Conditions
The rules that govern your use of the SpiceCado website and store
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to the SpiceCado website and your purchase of any product from us. SpiceCado is a brand owned and operated by SpiceCado Foods Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), with its registered office at No. 42, 3rd Floor, 100 Feet Road, Indiranagar, Bengaluru — 560038, Karnataka, India.
By placing an order or using this website you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site or place an order.
1. Who may order
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you order on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
2. Products, descriptions and availability
- We sell food products — spices, fresh fruits and vegetables, chocolates and biscuits. Photographs are indicative. Natural produce varies in size, shape and shade between harvests.
- Weights of fresh produce are net at the time of packing. Perishables lose a small amount of weight in transit; we pack with a reasonable allowance for this.
- Availability depends on the harvest. If an item you ordered becomes unavailable we will tell you and refund that item rather than substitute it without your agreement.
3. Food safety, allergens and storage
- Our products are sourced, packed and labelled in line with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and the rules made under it.
- Some products are packed in facilities that also handle nuts, milk, wheat and soy. If you have an allergy, read the pack label before consuming and contact us if anything is unclear.
- Storage instructions on the pack are part of the product. Fresh produce must be refrigerated on arrival; chocolate must be kept cool and away from direct sunlight. We cannot accept responsibility for spoilage caused by storage after delivery.
4. Pricing and payment
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, where applicable, are shown before you pay.
- Prices for seasonal produce change with the harvest. The price that applies to your order is the price shown at checkout when you place it.
- Payments are collected through our payment gateway partners. We do not store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials.
- If a product is listed at a manifestly incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full. We will contact you before doing so.
5. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. Until then we may decline or cancel an order — for example where stock has failed quality checks, where the delivery address is outside our serviceable network, or where we reasonably suspect fraud. Any amount you have paid for a declined order is refunded in full.
6. Delivery
Delivery timelines, charges and serviceable areas are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Because we sell food, returns are restricted for hygiene and safety reasons. What you can cancel, what you can claim for and how quickly refunds are paid are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Use of this website
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers, or any connected system;
- scrape, copy or republish our content, photographs or product descriptions for commercial use without our written permission;
- interfere with the site's operation, including by introducing malicious code or placing automated bulk orders.
9. Intellectual property
The SpiceCado name, logo, wordmark, photographs, copy and page designs are owned by SpiceCado Foods Private Limited or licensed to us, and are protected under Indian and international intellectual property law. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to use them.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control — including monsoon and landslide closures on the Nilgiris ghat roads, crop failure, strikes, courier network disruption, power or internet failure, epidemic, or government action.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
